    The Dallas Autumn Ball engages, impassions, and empowers young professionals and young individuals to celebrate charity and raise much needed awareness and funds for worthy educational causes in Dallas. This is a unique black tie event that delivers a philanthropic opportunity to give back to the community in a festive setting.

    The Dallas Autumn Ball specifically benefits the Dallas Education Foundation's Project: Amplify. Project: Amplify’s tutors also serve as mentors, role models whose dedication builds the student’s confidence and drives increased effort. Based on a wealth of research and proven best practices, the program is designed to be a true game-changer. Delivering targeted, personalized instruction during the school day on campus, Project: Amplify will drive significant gains to help close the achievement gap for three of DISD’s high-need feeder patterns in South and West Dallas.

    The 3-year pilot project expects to see incrementally improved student performance in early-childhood reading and middle- and high school Algebra skill attainment. In year 1, Project: Amplify will serve over 2,000 students, a critical mass to move the needle substantially for the 21 schools in the program.
