3D Digital Artist ( Modeling )

We seek a talented and driven 3D Modeler to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role demands proficiency in Blender and Zbrush and focuses on creating detailed 3D models, collaborating with other artists, and maintaining high-quality standards in deliverables.

We are based in Lancaster, PA. WebstaurantStore is the largest online restaurant supply store, servicing businesses and individual customers worldwide. With hundreds of thousands of products available and millions of orders shipped, we have everything hospitality businesses need to function at their best. Over the years, we have expanded our selection of commercial equipment and wholesale supplies to include healthcare, educational, food, beverage, office, hotel, and industrial supplies.

Your application should include a link to an online portfolio showcasing your modeling and texturing skills. Wireframes, texture breakdowns, and rendered images are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models using Blender and Zbrush as per the project requirements.
• Provide artistic and technical support to the team in 3D modeling projects.
• Implement strategies to enhance the quality and efficiency of model production.
• Ensure that all models meet the artistic directions and standards required by clients.
• Participate in regular team meetings to set goals, monitor progress, and discuss challenges.
• Mentor and support team members to foster a cooperative and innovative working environment.
• Design and develop 3D models for augmented reality (AR) applications, ensuring compatibility and optimization for AR platforms.
• Provide accurate time estimates for tasks, including iteration and review time.
• Collaboratively with the Photography, Video, and Production teams to solve creative and technical problems and meet deadlines.
• Consistently deliver work that meets quantitative and quality KPI goals.
  
  

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as a 3D Modeler with a strong portfolio featuring Blender and Zbrush work.
• Advanced proficiency in Blender and Zbrush is essential.
• Experience with other 3D software and tools is a plus.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative remote team setting.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good eye for detail and design.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in visual effects or architectural visualization
• Studio photography experience
• Working knowledge of physics/cloth simulation, scattering utilities, camera matching, photogrammetry, and other related DCC tools and techniques.
