Access Control Door Installation Coordinator

Job Description:

We have a temporary (3-6 month) position available for a diligent team member to oversee and document the progress of access control door cabling installations. This role requires working in an outdoor construction environment 100% of the time, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of door hardware installations across multiple buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track the progress of access control door cabling installations across multiple construction sites.
• Ensure the timely completion of door hardware installations.
• Utilize Smartsheets to document and monitor project progress.
• Communicate effectively with the internal team and General Contractors.
• Take detailed notes and handle emails efficiently to report on project updates.
• Collaborate with construction teams to resolve any issues and ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of installation progress.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a construction or project tracking role is preferred.
• Basic understanding of access control door equipment and cabling.
• Proficiency in Smartsheets for tracking project progress.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 for handling emails and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and contractors.
• Excellent note-taking and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in a construction environment 100% of the time.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
