Access Specialist, Disability & Testing Services

Job Summary

Coordinates the operations of Disability Services and assists in aiding students who disclose disabilities are afforded all of the legal rights and protections as mandated in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Responsible for tracking student applications, conducting intake meetings, communicating accommodation determinations, disability awareness event planning. Assists with the administration of CSU’s testing. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in counseling, occupational therapy, education, rehabilitation, psychology, business, or related field.
  • One (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
