We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our accounting department's daily operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess strong leadership skills.
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, implementing and maintaining internal controls, and managing a team of accounting professionals. Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Month-End Close: Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes of both the support center and site operations.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the shared services support center accounting department, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
Perform daily transactional accounting tasks, including payables
ACH disbursements and payroll processing.
Monitor cash and credit card balances.
Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices to enhance accuracy and productivity.
Coordinate external audits and assist auditors in conducting reviews of financial records. Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years of monthly transactional accounting and month-end closing experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
