The Accounts Receivable Specalist is responsible for executing essential functions related to accounts receivable, encompassing invoicing, adjustments, collections, reconciliation, and resolution of outstanding payments for corporate accounts. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient monitoring and tracking of the company’s accounts receivable, while adhering to established procedures and policies.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate and deliver accurate proforma invoices and invoices to customers.
  • Adhere to established procedures for processing daily cash receipts and allocate them to appropriate accounts.
  • Issue adjustments such as credit/debit memos for sales discounts, promotions, warranty claims, and additional surcharges based on Logistic Department instructions, with proper documentation and approval.
  • Apply accurate pricing for warranty claim adjustment credits.
  • Issue monthly customer statements and promptly address any additional reports and inquiries as per customer requests.
  • Perform account reconciliations, research, and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review Accounts Receivable Aging report daily and/or weekly, and communicate with customers regarding non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, assisting the department manager to ensure all customer accounts remain current.
  • Maintain records, files, and backup documentation related to accounts receivable and customer issues following AR filing rules.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring all necessary transactions are entered into the system, supporting managers and other AR team members with tasks related to month-end closing.
  • Assist in the company's auditing process by providing any required documents to auditors.
  • Display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
