A prestigious and very successful Manhattan based real estate firm is seeking an experienced and process improvement minded Accounts Receivable Supervisor. This is a stable and profitable company that owns a large portfolio of commercial and residential properties.

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor (AR) will assist the Director with overseeing the team and handling the designated portfolio of commercial properties, while working 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee with monthly billing of rent, electric, and common area maintenance charges (CAM), cash receipts application, maintaining current rent rolls, coordinate with property management on tenant collections and provide various reports for upper management.
• Work closely with lease administration team to expedite new leases which involves reviewing billing information, updating system and providing approval of renewed leases for existing tenants as needed.
• Work with management departments to identify and monitor any problems with tenant accounts.
• Process operating expense reconciliation, porter wages and CPI increases, as well as real estate taxes.

Requirements:

• 5+ experience within real estate A/R process.
• Basic accounting principles knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task, effectively determine priorities and meet firm deadlines.
• Polished and professional able to interface with all levels of staff.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Yardi or MRI software a plus.

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 plus bonus, 401k match, comprehensive health benefits and many other valuable perks…
