- Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in the specific clinical field relevant to the teaching role.
- Experience working in clinical settings and providing direct patient care.
- Knowledge of current trends, research, and best practices in the clinical field.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex clinical concepts to students in an understandable manner.
- Experience developing and delivering instructional materials, such as lectures, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations.
- Skill in assessing student learning outcomes and providing constructive feedback.
- Minimum educational requirements - DO or MD degree.
- Any additional certifications, licenses, or credentials required for clinical practice and teaching.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds.
- Flexibility in scheduling and availability to accommodate both classroom instruction and potential clinical placements or supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other faculty members, healthcare professionals, and students.
- Ability to mentor and support students in their academic and clinical pursuits.
- Demonstrated commitment to staying current with advances in the clinical field through continuing education, professional development activities, and involvement in relevant professional organizations.
- Adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards in both clinical practice and teaching.
