Administrative IT Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a unique individual who thrives on accountability and problem solving in a steady paced environment to join our team as an IT Assistant. Must be self-starting as well as have excellent analytical and communication skills. The keys to success as an IT Assistant are being able to follow detailed processes and overcoming obstacles while remaining flexible with competing priorities.

Job Duties:

Track incoming orders, asset tag, make arrangements for pick up/delivery.

IT Request/new hire set up (adding to Active Directory/Azure, setting up Laptops/iPhone/iPads, making updates to documents through multiple dashboards/apps).

Employee exit (wiping devices, updating documents and multiple dashboards/apps, including Active Directory and Azure).

Reconcile invoices monthly, notify supervisor of outliers.

Reset conference room equipment weekly.

Rolling review of new hires/terminations one month after onboarding date to ensure new hire paperwork was signed and returned, email signatures were set up, no residual action items are required. Notify IT Specialist of any delinquencies/issues.

Assist IT Specialist with addressing security outliers by email and phone calls. Follow up with IT Specialist if outliers remain.

Audit phone list, asset tracker, and multiple dashboards/apps to ensure records are accurate and upkeep is being maintained.

Keep vault containing IT equipment inventory organized.

Arrange for all decommissioned IT equipment to be recycled as often as weekly.

Assist IT Specialist with companywide tech initiatives (pulling reports, generating lists, calling employees to make contact) as they come up, usually every 3-6 months, lasting 1 to six months on average.

Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to follow basic troubleshooting steps related to end user computing environments, printers, computer devices, and mobile devices.

Positive attitude and ability to work as a team member

High energy level capable of multi-tasking and self-direction; very detail oriented

Knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment

College Degree Preferred But Not Required
