2- or 4-year Ag-Related degree, Agronomy preferred
Ag background with good knowledge and understanding of Livestock and Crop Production
Minimum 2 years providing Agronomic recommendations to area Ag growers
General knowledge of regulations surrounding livestock operations EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL

With a focus on agronomy, our client understands the tremendous fertilizer value and yield impacts of manure/organic fertilizers. The same information that is required for compliance has proven extremely valuable in manure, compost, and bio-solid placement for the clients of this organization.
Duties
This new employee will call on and consult with Ag grower/livestock operations and fertilizer customers to provide agronomic recommendations, nutrient management, and to advise on environmental compliance issues. General duties to include:
Providing sound agronomic recommendations
Developing tailor-made soil nutrient management plans and solutions
Assisting livestock clientele to remain current with environmental compliance, providing annual reviews of their operating plans and permits as well as making recommendations for changes and/or improvements
Developing strong business relationships with Ag customers as well as being active within local community representing yourself and your employer in the highest professional manner
Collecting necessary information for other divisions of the organization and providing timely reports to upper management
This individual will work from a home-based office and will report directly to the company COO.
