Title: Android Developer (Remote)

Location: Remote

Duration: 1.5 Years

Ideal candidates are local to San Diego, but exceptional candidates from outside the area are welcome.

Description

• You will design and build applications for the Android platform
• You’ll implement requirements on Android apps, write and update design documents
• We’ll rely on you to continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency
• You’ll interface with software test to ensure high quality product
• Develop automated unit and integration tests
• You’ll participate in design, code, and test reviews and provide technical leadership
• You will propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability
• Attend all Scrum ceremonies and participate as a key member of the team
  
  

Must Have

• Java and Kotlin
• Design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP
• Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
  
  

Education

A bachelor’s degree is essential, and successful contractors may be converted to full-time roles after six months.

Interview Process

Initial Phone Screen

Successful candidates proceed to a take-home project with a code walkthrough.

Final stage is a comprehensive panel interview.

Industry Experience: While beneficial, it is not mandatory.

Work Hours: 8 Hours (8 AM to 3 PM PST are core hours) with flexibility for earlier start times. Our team in Egypt aligns with these hours.
