Immediate opening for Accounting Clerk in a Regulated Manufacturing Environment in Newport , CA who possesses:
At least one year of an A/R background.
Comfortability processing invoices

Full Duties
AP/AR Clerk
Esssential/Primary Duties
Daily billing of all orders shipped, print invoices, and attach to backup order packets, scan.
Submit invoices to manager for review and approval.
Email invoices to customers.
Create Proforma and Deposit Invoices as needed.
Maintain A/R open invoices files.
Post Cash Receipts.
When invoices are paid in full, print a copy and submit to A/P for commission processing.
Create Credit Memos from RMA findings and submit for approval.
When Credit Memo is approved, post.
Review and resolve customer Debit Memos.
Create a weekly AR Aged report and report weekly collection forcast.
Make Collection calls on all past due and due on receipt receivables and update notes in system customer files
Process credit applications for new customers, scan credit app and trad refs into customer files.
Make regular follow ups on any pending credit applications.
Make recommendations for Approval or Denial of completed credit applications and credit limits.
Enter new customer into system and update customer files as needed.
Miscellaneous scanning & shredding of documents.
Assist in answering and fielding incoming phone calls.
Assist manager on various special projects as needed.
Back-up co-workers in Accounting Department in their absence.
Pay Rate: $20+/hr
