Provides therapy to patients through the process of self-expression and art making. Develops patient activity plans involving drawing or painting to enhance patient assessment and development. Provides art activity instruction and monitors patient behavior and progress. Uses the creative process to improve and enhance their physical, mental and emotional well-being. • Requires a Master's Degree in Art Therapy from an accredited institution. • Certification in Arts Therapy or related social science (AATA or ATCB) field is preferred. Must be eligible for certification. • Requires 1-3 years of experience in art therapy.
