Looking for a management position with growth opportunities in the Wellness industry? Elements Massage® is looking for an assistant sales manager / operations manager to oversee sales and operations for our Massage and Skincare studio in Clifton Park.
The Assistant Manager position plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of the studio. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the oversight of the daily operations of the studio. In this position you will strive to meet established personal and studio sales goals and objectives in the areas of member growth and ensure a flawless experience for any client who enters the studio. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for training, coaching and mentoring front desk associates and service providers to ensure our high level of standards are met.

Qualifications
Prior retail management level sales experience preferred; selling memberships or services in‐person to potential clients.
People management in a spa‐like or similar environment is preferred.
Familiarity and high comfort level with modern office tools, systems and software.

Ability to thrive in a changing work environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; communicates with confidence
Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strongproject management skills
Job Expectations
Work schedule up to 40 hours per week - nights and weekends required
Open and close studio
Meets weekly with the owner and/or manager(s) to report on progress towards goals
Host monthly/quarterly meetings
Works closely with the management team towards goals and improvements
Interviews, onboarding and training of new and existing front desk associates
Trains, mentors and coaches front desk staff to continually develop sales and customer service skills
Takes inventory of supplies needed and keeps manager informed of needs in a timely manner
Executes the Elements Service Path and ensures that all employees are as well
Creates a schedule that is fair and meets the studio's staffing needs at least 30 days in advance
Practices exceptional customer service, focus on membership sales, and client retention
Leads by example and following all studio policies along with being honest and sincere
