Assistant Principal or Academic Dean of Students

EFFECTIVE DATE: 2024 - 2025 School Year.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have the ability to lead a diversity of people; must have the ability to make effective decisions and analyze all solutions to problems; must be very organized and possess the ability to accomplish tasks on short notice; must possess the ability to demonstrate initiative when they discover tasks need to be accomplished. The candidate must be able to become Crisis Prevention, CPI, and Intervention certified.

REQUIRED FOR ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL: Indiana Elementary School Principal’s Certificate; Master’s Degree; five years teaching experience.

REQUIRED FOR ACADEMIC DEAN: Current teaching certification; five years teaching experience. Applicant must have started an educational leadership/administrative licensure program.

  • A statement of your philosophy of elementary education and your perceptions of the role of the elementary administrator/dean in public education today.

SALARY: Salary for Assistant Principal: $74,431 - $89,749 per year.

Salary for Academic Dean: Per training and experience.
