This position will assist the Director of Education Solutions in program development, implementation, and coordination of education services for Region V school districts. Provide supervision for assigned staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in Program Development
Assist with researching current, evidence-based practices in assigned programmatic areas as directed.
Assist in the development of educational programming and strategy in assigned programmatic areas with assigned team and other key partners as directed. .
Assist in Analyzing feedback from member schools around programmatic needs and effectiveness to inform and guide program development and continuous improvement planning within assigned programmatic areas.
Brings programmatic development and strategy recommendations to Director
Program Coordination
Coordinate programming for regional schools provided by assigned staff.
Provide budget input on assigned programs.
Work closely with District Strategy Partners and departmental directors to ensure collaboration and alignment of departmental programs for cohesive service to regional schools.
Leadership
Attend meetings, in the absence of and/or as directed by the Director.
Participates as a member of the departmental planning team, supporting departmental strategy, alignment, and planning.
Participate in related state organizations
Supports strategy development for assigned programmatic areas.
Leads and directs assigned staff
Leads and directs assigned staff; 1) Coordinates work schedules to ensure proper coverages; 2) Approves time off, reimbursable expenses, and changes to work schedule; 3) Leads the performance evaluation of assigned staff, including non-tenured teacher evaluations
Directs the work of others within their assigned group
Facilitates team meetings with assigned staff
Coordinates work activities of assigned staff; organizes and prioritizes projects and workload; effectively delegates and monitors work
Provides project management for day-to-day operations
Ensures adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures; correcting errors or problems
Provides job-embedded training for staff necessary for effective program implementation.
Provides coaching and feedback to assigned staff; Provides regular progress reports to the Director
Attend external partnership meetings as directed
Functions as a role model
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in education
Current teaching license
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in the field of education
Experience in leadership
Experience with program development and management
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in education or other related field
Two years of experience in leading or supervising teams
Expertise and/or experience in group facilitation and adult learning
Expertise meeting current and changing needs of education in the region
2 FTE Positions open until filled. TRA eligible.
Associate Director of Education Solutions: STEM. Background in science and technology integration preferred.
Associate Director of Education Solutions: Professional Learning. Background in literacy, as well as standards and curriculum work preferred.
Salary Range:
Grade 13, $90,415.78 - $126,582.07 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience.

Location:
Applicants should be located near or in the counties we serve (Region 5) and be able to commute to the office and throughout the region at least 2-3 days a week for meetings and support.
On occasion may be expected to attend meetings or trainings at Sourcewell's headquarters in Staples, MN, advance notice would be given to team member.
