We are seeking an experienced Associate Relations Manager to join our dynamic and rapidly growing hospitality company. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment. Your primary mission will be to handle employment risks, ensure legal compliance, and foster an exceptional experience for our valued team members.
Key Responsibilities
Lead communication and collaboration between business and HR teams
Address and resolve team member issues effectively and efficiently
Conduct training on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), laws, policies, and procedures
Facilitate conflict resolution and provide guidance on employee relations matters
Investigate allegations of discrimination and harassment promptly and thoroughly
Counsel management on HR policies, attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions
Oversee leaves of absence (ADA, FMLA, PFML, etc.) in compliance with applicable laws
Develop and monitor departmental goals and operational effectiveness
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employee information are accurate and confidential
Assist legal counsel with defense preparations as needed
Support crisis management and new hire screening programs
This is primarily an office-based role with the option for one remote workday per week
Ability to travel when necessary is required
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in Associate Relations and investigations
Leadership experience in the hospitality industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
Strong problem-solving and client relationship management abilities
Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) Certification preferred
