Ithaka Hospitality Partners is excited to announce, as the commercial partner of the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management, we are offering three Summer 2024 Internships for Auburn University Hospitality Graduate Students!

There are three Summer 2024 internships available. One in each of the following areas:

  • 1. Rooms Operation
  • 2. Culinary
  • 3. Food & Beverage

This Is a Paid Summer Internship That Begins Immediately Following May 2024 Graduation And Concludes One Week Prior To The Start Of Fall Semester In August 2024. The Internships Will Be Paid The Prevailing Rate For That Particular Position



ROOMS OPERATIONS

  •          Front Desk Agent - $13.50/hour
  •          O/N Agent- $14.94/hour
  •          Operator- $13.50/hour



CULINARY

  •          Cook III - $12.00/hour
  •          Cook II - $14.00/hour
  •          Cook I - $16.00/hour



FOOD & BEVERAGE

  •          Ariccia Server - $3.45/hour
  •          1856 – Culinary Residence - Server - $3.45/hour
  •          Banquet Server - $6.23/hour
  •          Rooftop Cocktail Sever- $4.12
  •          Server Attendant- $ 8.91/hour
  •          Bartender- $8.76/hour
  •          Barista- $12.36/hour
  •          Host/Hostess- $12.36/hour
  •          Food and Beverage Attendant- $8.91/hour



Applicants must follow the selection process of Ithaka Hospitality Partners (IHP). Interns will be expected to work 40 hours/week, attend orientation, and adhere to all IHP guidelines and levels of accountability. Any violations of IHP standards and/or employee handbook guidelines will be addressed using the IHP progressive discipline policy, as it is for any IHP team member.
