Audit Director

Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented, dynamic leader with 8+ years of audit experience to lead. Profit sharing, flex schedule and ranked as best place to work for in the country,

Responsibilities:

• Plan and perform compliance and financial audits.
• Identify business process risks.
• Develop testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls and document results.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Participate in sales and new business efforts.
• Oversee and train a team of accounting professionals.
• Develop and cultivate professional client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA license highly preferred
• 8+ years of recent audit and accounting experience at a public accounting firm (5+years), Real Estate or Manufacturing- Private equity experience
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
• Risk Assessments, Internal Controls, Testing
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, time management, leadership and PC skills including technical expertise in auditing.
• Ability to lead and manage projects and initiatives and implement personnel and process improvements.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff, recognize problems in management areas and implement solutions and lead by example.
