Behavior Frontiers is an IBHS provider specializing in providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in their home and community settings. We are looking for a diagnostician to join our team to conduct diagnostic evaluations and prescribe written orders for services for individuals who may have autism in the greater Philadelphia area. The diagnostician will be responsible for independently providing diagnostic and developmental assessments and/or written orders for children and adolescents referred to our agency for developmental, behavioral, medical, and psychological challenges.
General Job Responsibilities
Conduct autism spectrum or psychological assessments, analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reports
Provide feedback to clients after evaluations
Communicate with team members during the evaluation process as needed
Provide written orders for applied behavior analysis treatment for qualified new clients and for continuance of services, pursuant to Pennsylvania’s state regulatory guidelines as outlined in their Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program
Follow all regulatory guidelines in accordance with Pennsylvania’s IBHS program
Other duties as assigned
EMPLOYMENT / CONTRACTOR STRUCTURE
Candidates may work as a part time employee or as an independent contractor.
Part time employees will be paid $125 per hour. The position may increase to full time status with salary as referrals permit.
Independent contractors will be paid $1,000 per completion of each diagnostic report and $125 for each IBHS written order.
Job Qualifications
Education/Licensure
Licensed psychologists, working within their scope of practice, with training, experience, or expertise in diagnosing ASD and/or behavioral health services
Work Experience
Two-three years’ experience, in which a significant portion of time has been spent in diagnosing ASD
Experience administering various standardized diagnostic measures, as well as psychological and autism spectrum assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability
Experience prescribing IBHS written orders for applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health services
Experience with Microsoft Office
Knowledge/Skills
Proficiency in the following psychometric instruments:

ABAS-3
WISC-V
Extensive knowledge of DSM-5
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with families, schools, and ASD service providers in child’s community

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills
Background knowledge of IBHS guidelines strongly preferred
