Job Summary
Maintain, setup, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with automated manufacturing equipment, improve uptime of equipment, and help develop expertise in Automation. Assist with training, operating, and helping operators and Supervisors understand equipment to reduce downtime and improve quality.

Job Summary
Maintain, setup, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with automated manufacturing equipment, improve uptime of equipment, and help develop expertise in Automation. Assist with training, operating, and helping operators and Supervisors understand equipment to reduce downtime and improve quality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complies with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide mechanical, electrical, and control system technical support for existing automated equipment and assist with setup of new equipment.
- Communicate with machine operators to troubleshoot issues and address their concerns.
- Analyzes equipment process data to identify equipment that may not be performing efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, manuals, and written instructions to assist in troubleshooting automation equipment issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency of automated equipment and processes.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and calibrations of existing equipment.
- Utilize the facilities work order system to efficiently resolve and document issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, corrective action formulation, and root-cause investigation when necessary.
- Train operators, techs, and other individuals about operating and troubleshooting equipment.
- Assist with performing system validations and engineering trials.
- Maintain spare parts inventory to reduce equipment downtime.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Background in Maintenance or Industrial Technology / Engineering, or related field.
- At least three (3) years of practical experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in a Production setting.
- Strong troubleshooting/maintenance skills.
- High volume medical device manufacturing experience, preferred.
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), robotic, and vision experience a plus.
- Great upbeat attitude who enjoys working with a strong technical team and capable of working individually as well.
- Must be able to work 12 hours shifts 5 pm - 5 am.
