The Automotive Sales Manager at Hubler Ford in Shelbyville, Indiana will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue and achieve profitability goals. This individual contributor role will require strong sales skills, team management abilities, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. The Sales Manager will be responsible for setting sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring all team members are meeting their individual and team goals.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a Full-time position with a competitive base salary plus commission structure. The total annual compensation for this role ranges from $140,000 to $175,000, depending on experience. Additionally, the Sales Manager will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k retirement plan.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals
Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and guidance to help them meet their targets
Train and onboard new sales team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, both in person and through follow-up communication
Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with proven track record of achieving sales targets
Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team to drive results
Must have excellent sales and negotiation skills
Strong understanding of the automotive industry, current market trends, and consumer behavior
Ability to analyze and interpret sales performance data
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
