Who are we? An Introduction

The Crisis Residential Support(CRS) program provides crisis mental health services to all age groups in Utah and Wasatch Counties. The Behavioral Specialist develops and offers community and in-clinic services, acting as a role model and providing both direct and indirect support services to those either in or recovering from a life crisis. CRS is s a short term walk-in crisis center allowing for a maximum stay of up to 23 hours and offering such services as food, beds, protection from weather and an in person support specialist to those in need.

Are you excited about this Behavior Specialist job?

As a new Behavior Specialist at Wasatch Behavioral Health, you can expect to work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting behavioral assessments, implementing interventions, and documenting progress. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide support and guidance to clients in our Crisis Residential Support Program. Your schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, allowing for consistency and work-life balance. Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.

Salary: $15.62 - $19.79 per hour
