We are seeking a motivated Biomechanics Researcher to join our client's dynamic team. As a crucial member of our research and development efforts, you will contribute to the creation of innovative products by conducting foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics. Utilizing cutting-edge equipment and methodologies, you will play a key role in advancing our understanding of human movement and performance.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Biomechanics Researcher Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day logistics and support data collection & analysis for sports research programs.
Interact with researchers, athletes, and staff to communicate study details, troubleshoot equipment, and provide updates.
Oversee inventory management of research tools and products.
Summarize and visualize data from research experiments.
Assist in the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations.
Demonstrate a high level of initiative in conducting independent experiments.
Biomechanics Researcher Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Physiology, etc.).
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Python and Excel.
Experience with motion capture systems, wearable sensors, and force plates.
Strong understanding of biomechanical principles and performance research.
Familiarity with biomechanics, wearable sensors, motion capture, and force plates.
Proficiency in data processing, aggregation, analysis, and visualization techniques.
Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab is preferred.
Strong initiative and ability to perform tasks independently.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Prior experience in industry research methodologies and practices is advantageous.
Compensation: $18-$26/hr. (DOE)Benefits
