Qualifications
Minimum of 20 year(s) of experience OR MA/MS Degree in Agriculture, natural resources, agronomy or related field of study.
The individual will maintain and update content on the Forest Service?s Celebrating Wildflowers Web Site and respond to inquiries in the inbox. This includes but is not limited to content on Native Plant Materials and the National Revegetation Effort, on Pollinators, and on Tribal Connections including ITEK, and on Climate Change.The individual will foster Pollinator Partnerships, including but not limited to those w/the Pollinator Partnership and the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign, and the USDA Pollinator Task Force, and further the Pollinator Program w/the Forest Service.

Qualifications

- Experience working with workflows and content associated with the Celebrating Wildflowers Web Site (Native Plant Materials, Natural areas, At-risk plants, Culturally-important plants, Pollinators and their host plants).
- Expert knowledge of relevant Forest Service laws, regulations, and policies, and roles and responsibilities related to Botanical and Pollinator Resources.
- Experience managing Forest Service programs at the National level;Proven ability to work with Partnerships and communicate internally.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point

- Implement agreements w/the Pollinator Partnership, NAPPC, and others; Increase communications regarding pollinator habitat and monitoring throughout the Agency; Participate on the USDA Task Force; Serve as a technical expert in support of the USDA-FS Pollinator Program. 30%
- Maintain communications w/ the National Botanist, and others both within the unit and across Forest Service units to accomplish relevant CW and Pollinator programs. Attend meetings on TEAMS as appropriate and available (ex. weekly units; monthly Pollinator Partnership, USDA Pollinator Task Force, National/Regional Botany Program, National Regional Soils, Ecology, and Botany Programs; quarterly NAPPC). 10%
