**Location:** Remote – Work virtually from anywhere in the U.S.

**Job Summary:**
The Building Automation Systems Engineer Senior Specialist provides technical support and leadership for implementing building automation systems in hyperscale data centers and similar sectors. This role involves collaborating with design engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors, and clients to ensure proper operation and acceptance of automation and software solutions. The specialist will self-direct day-to-day work, lead teams and projects, and coordinate activities of other personnel.
**Essential Functions:**
- Develop and execute hardware engineering solutions for building automation systems.
- Lead designs for DDC and PLC-based control systems, network/system architecture, and control panels.
- Create and review project specifications, sequences of operations, and Bill of Materials.
- Participate in design reviews and coordinate with vendors for product specifications and availability.
- Manage project communication, reporting, and internal and external quality control.
**Requirements:**
- Proficient in BAS project design and completion.
- Skilled in using MS Office Suite and managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledgeable in data center HVAC applications, BAS control strategies, AutoCAD or Revit, IoT solutions, networking, open-source protocols, DDC, and PLC systems.
- Capable of working remotely with effective communication, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and work under pressure.
**Travel Requirements:** Up to 20%, including travel to client sites and industry conferences across the U.S.
