Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Location: Sandy, UT

Job-Type: FTE or CTH

Salary Range: $95K - $110K

Referral Fee: $2,000

Position Overview:

As a Business Analyst in a fast-growing company and exciting industry, you will be an integral part of a team that is bringing innovative products to market. You will work closely with business stakeholders/users, other business analysts, and software developers to set goals, build requirements, and produce great results.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Work closely with Project Manager, Sr. Business Analyst, or Scrum Master to execute assigned projects.

· Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand their needs and gather and define requirements for products. Work with development team to create user stories.

· Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.

· Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications.

· Acts as liaison with Information Technology and/or outside vendors to support relevant projects or systems.

· Work with all levels in the company (including executive team) and present findings and ideas to decision makers.

Required Experience & Skills:

· 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst (or similar role).

· 3+ years’ experience in information systems, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.

· Great communication (both written and verbal) with the ability to work with and present to all levels of the organization.

· Solid knowledge of the financial services industry including but not limited to; products/services offered, vendors, and regulatory requirements.

Nice to Have Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.

· Experience working with offshore development teams.

· Any experience working with SQL (writing queries, etc.).
