Summary
The Business Continuity Manager will manage corporate wide contingency planning/business continuity efforts and is responsible for exercising administrative control over the business continuity process, evaluating compliance with BCM Policies and standards to develop and contribute to reporting for all levels of management.

Summary
The Business Continuity Manager will manage corporate wide contingency planning/business continuity efforts and is responsible for exercising administrative control over the business continuity process, evaluating compliance with BCM Policies and standards to develop and contribute to reporting for all levels of management.
Job Duties
- Provide expertise and support to management and business functional areas in planning for business interruptions
- Performs business impact analysis (BIA), and facility-based risk analysis according to established business continuity risk management practices.
- Facilitates in-person workshops with departmental leadership and other stakeholders to process map critical business functions, normal business processes, workflows, recovery, downtime, processes and strategies.
- Manages the regular validation and testing of documented business continuity plans.
- Evaluates the likelihood and impact of potential disruptions and events for third parties.
- Identifies weaknesses in exercises, tests, and training that exceed the entity's risk appetite and raising awareness of those weaknesses within lines of business and through the Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) process.
- Establish the requirements of an enterprise-wide training program to educate stakeholders on resilience, business continuity goals, corporate-wide objectives, policies, and individual personnel roles and responsibilities. Coordinates training, communication, and testing of plans.
- Support front line business units and Information Technology with developing their business, technology, and site-specific BCP plans following the business continuity strategy.
- Acts as application administrator for business continuity application tool (Quantivate)
- Manages and delivers effective business continuity strategies to support and, in time of disaster, recover the company's critical business functions.
- Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
- Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of eight years of business continuity experience required.
- Minimum five years in a financial services risk management position required.
- Knowledge of business continuity planning, emergency and incident planning, analysis, concepts, methodology and regulatory requirements required
- Knowledge of Crisis Management concepts and techniques, ability to predict, avert, mitigate, and recover from an event that has or could have severely had negative impact on the business required
- Demonstrable experience developing procedural documents (workflows, RACIs, SLAs and Job Aids).
