Job Description
As a Business Continuity Professional, you will be a vital contributor to our organization's resilience and preparedness efforts, ensuring the continuity of essential functions and operations in the face of disruptions and emergencies.
Your role encompasses the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive business continuity strategies, plans, and procedures.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will assess risks, design response strategies, and foster a culture of readiness throughout the organization. Your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing downtime, safeguarding critical assets, and enabling a swift and effective response to unexpected events. In this role, you will also be responsible for delivering annual training to educate employees about business continuity principles, their roles during disruptions, and response protocols. Promote awareness and empower staff to contribute effectively to the organization's resilience.
You will organize and execute regular business continuity exercises and simulations to validate the effectiveness of response strategies. Coordinate drills that simulate various crisis scenarios to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Minimum Required Qualifications
We anticipate the salary range to be $66,379.50 to $170,037.60. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years’ experience within a Business Continuity Management.
- Experience with business continuity testing and evaluation.
- Functional knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27031 & ISO 22301, COBIT, and ITIL
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery planning techniques, technologies and best practices, methods used in performing risk analysis and business impact analyses.
- Understanding of modern recovery solutions, such as multi high-availability architectures, cloud principles, and containerization.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in project plan creation and successful implementation.
- Experience working with enterprise Risk Management solutions (Such as ServiceNow, Archer, Resolver, etc.).
- A good understanding of business continuity planning strategies in remote and dynamic global environments, including crisis management.
- Ability to act as a change agent, leads and welcomes innovative ideas and drives continuous improvement and service optimization.
- 5+ years’ of relevant experience creating BIAs (business impact analysis) and BCPs (Business Continuity Plans) Identify and document recovery strategies, develop and document framework for contingency planning in accordance with controls established in NIST regulations.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (ABCP / CBCP / MBCP)
- This is a remote-based position. Employee will be required to have appropriate local services to work from home on a fulltime basis.
- Experience working with project management tools that support Agile environments (Jira/Confluence).
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Pass required background check.
