Business Data Analyst

We are a dynamic and innovative team seeking a talented Business Data Analyst who can help us leverage data to drive business growth and innovation. As a Business Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs, challenges, and opportunities. Ideally you will bring domain acumen that will enable you to enrich the value of the insights delivered to internal and external users. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources and provide actionable insights and recommendations. You will also ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy throughout the data analysis process.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and data requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex datasets using AWS services.
• Leverage data visualization tools to develop dashboards and reports that provide insights into business performance and trends.
• Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of business initiatives.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Continuously improve data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and AWS services.
• Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science required.
• Three (3) years of experience in data analytics or related field, preferably in the small business domain, especially healthcare.
• Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities in complex datasets.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) required.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI and/or AWS Quick Sight.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data in a simple and compelling way to diverse audiences.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and/or statistical analysis tools is a plus.
• Understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry, Data Warehouse, BI reporting, and Dashboard development.
