Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging data analytics to drive marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that support marketing initiatives and business growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING| THE ROLE

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into marketing performance.
    • Create and present detailed reports on marketing metrics, campaign performance, and ROI to stakeholders.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
    • Utilize market research findings to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, etc.).
    • Provide recommendations for optimization and improvement of marketing efforts based on data-driven insights.
  • Data Management:
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data management practices.
    • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate and streamline data sources.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Work with the marketing team to develop data-driven marketing strategies and goals.
    • Provide insights that influence strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  • Tool and Technology Utilization:
    • Utilize BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Excel to analyze data and create visualizations.
    • Stay updated on the latest BI tools and technologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and finance, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
    • Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING| THE PERSON

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role, preferably within a marketing organization.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization and creating compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
