Business Planning and Trade Analyst

Job Overview

As Business Planning and Trade Analyst, this position will be tasked with supporting the Trade/Promo/Rebate processes within the Sales organization at PetIQ, working closely in partnership with Accounting/Finance along with the Sales Reps and Brokers. In this role you will own the administrative management of our Trade tool (CPG Toolbox) along with setting up quarterly trade accrual rates.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Trade management and reporting
• Lead the annual trade budget while working with Sales Reps and the Director of Business Planning
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting for product sales as needed, in conjunction with the Senior Director of Business planning
  
  

Essential Functions/Job Duties

• Highly resourceful, team-player with the ability be extremely effective, independently.
• Own the reporting and ROI analysis, related to promotions for our top customers.
• Assist in the quarterly, annual forecasting and budgeting process for Trade and Product Sales
• Assist with item, brand, and retailer P&L analysis and other special projects with the support of Business Analytics and Reporting
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience and education in the areas of reporting, forecasting and business analytics
• Confidence and the ability to be a self-starter with large projects, with minimal supervision
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and PowerPoint
• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and be adaptive to various competing demands
• High level of professionalism including in drafting, editing, and sending email correspondence
• Ability to follow instructions and apply a proven process to tasks at hand
• High level of organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects
• Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure and always remain customer focused
  
  

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field is required
