Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II in San Diego, CA. Duties Include:

  • Business Systems Analyst II will be responsible for the analysis, adjustment and restructuring of different aspects of a business
  • Responsibility to ensure that a business's structure is meeting top output efficiency
  • Work closely with individuals at all levels of employment to see what is and isn't working in the most efficient manner possible
  • Responsible for interacting with and addressing employees at all levels in a professional manner while providing constructive criticism that is conducive to the restructuring of current systems
  • Responsible for identifying and addressing current and future business needs within the realms of currently accessible resources
  • Responsible for advising on the allocation of resources in such a way that minimizes waste and maximizes efficient use and profitability
  • Their positions are ongoing requiring multiple follow ups on completed work and flexible availability for future consultation
  • Business System Analysts must be prepared to address any concerns that arise during any restructuring of existing systems and adequately explain advantages and disadvantages to any stem changes made under their supervision
  • Determine solutions to business software/hardware system problems
  • Analyze business processes and write system process specifications to be used
  • Work with clients to determine their business needs to transform them into information technology system requirements

Requirements

  • Has extensive experience with Alteryx and QuickBase Is proficient in SQL Is skilled in data management, including handling issues with data pipelines in case something goes wrong with an ETL, PFTS, Bot, API, or third-party platform
  • Must have a functional understanding of software systems and at least fundamental understanding of software coding
  • Familiar with ticket management tools like Jira and Smartsheet, and can handle tasks like assigning tickets to the right analyst and ensuring they're progressed
  • They must be completely proficient in Microsoft Office and have interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive and takes initiative, doesn't simply wait for tasks to be delegated but is capable of doing their own research, identifying problems, and offering solutions
  • Having knowledge in areas like sourcing, procurement, and contract management would be a big advantage

Interview Process

  • 1st round: 45 - 60 minute
  • 2nd round: 45 -60 minute

Location:

  • Hybrid preferable (San Diego, MTV, or Plano)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
