As an English Language Instructor, you'll join our dedicated team under the guidance of our Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist. Position Overview
The English Language Instructor plays a vital role in delivering engaging language lessons to students while upholding the principles of quality teaching and exceptional customer service. Whether teaching in-person or virtually, you'll inspire and guide students towards language proficiency while fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver dynamic lessons tailored to meet the individual goals and needs of students, aligning with our teaching principles.
Conduct level assessments and needs analyses to customize learning experiences for each student.
Collaborate with private and group students at our Learning Center, offsite locations, or virtually.
Engage in regular meetings with the Academic Specialist for lesson evaluations and coaching to enhance teaching skills and achieve SMART goals.
Actively participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated with effective teaching methodologies.
Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and pedagogical progress.
Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and contribute to the development of shared teaching resources.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of the learning environment.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in spoken English.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic administrative skills and computer literacy for lesson delivery and record-keeping.
Flexible availability to accommodate varying work hours.
Certification with TESOL Endorsement is required.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this role, employees may need to engage in verbal communication and occasionally perform light physical tasks, such as standing, walking, or lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
