Assist in build and operation of chemical processes. Clean area and maintain parts/equipment inventories. Create requisitions for PM's. Help construct and operate chemical pilot plant processes using pipe, tubing, AC/DC powered instruments/equipment. Assist in operating complex chemical and petroleum processes at pilot (small) scale. Maintain equipment/vehicles, install/remove insulation, deliver packages, assist with welding, cutting, wiring, wire installations, drawings etc. Document operation data in logbook and communicate to other shifts. Perform analytical testing using gas chromatograph. Create and manage chemical and equipment inventory.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
HS Diploma or Equivalent required
Hands on experience with mechanical and electrical systems
Experience working with hand tools and power tools
Experience with chemicals or chemical processes such as distillation is a plus
Experience troubleshooting and problem solving is also a plus
Computer experience with Excel and Word
Shift work 24/7 will be required
Working in a plant, lab or highbay will be required
Walking up/down stairs and ladders up to 20 ft
Working in outdoor weather conditions and will be required to walk between work sites on 1500 acre property
MVR is required
Steel toed shoes required
Dress code: collared shirt/jeans Monday - Sunday pending on shift 8 am - 5pm but may vary depending on shift work
