Description

The COO is to be directly involved with the CEO in planning and coordinating the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the agency. The COO will also assist in public relations, administrative, and quality assurance activities as well as oversight of various programs within the agency.

Full-time, Exempt Position

Starting Pay: $80,000 + depending on licensure and experience

  • Serves as a member of the Leadership/Management Team.
  • Serves on the Ethics, Fundraising, Grant, and Policy Committees.
    • on other agency committees as assigned by the Executive Director.
  • Serves as the agency's Corporate Compliance Officer.
  • Provides oversight to the Directors of Clinical Services and Clinical Programs for MHR.
  • Supervises the QI Director and all QI services (ie. CARF, audits).
  • Assists Executive Director:
    • in agency planning.
    • in agency coordination and strategic planning.
    • in agency risk management planning.
    • in organizational structures and planning.
    • in agency public relations.
    • in agency marketing.
    • with liaison service between the agency and community stakeholders.
  • Provides weekly reporting of public relations within the community.
  • Works closely with the agency's Chief Financial Officer.
  • Carries out the agency mission.
  • Maintain HIPAA and client confidentiality at all times.
  • Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work schedule is essential.
  • Carries out certain tasks in the absence of the Executive Director:
    • Signing of Checks
    • Payroll/Benefit approval
    • Purchase Order approval
    • Staffing changes
Marginal Duties

  • Maintains confidential records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: A Master’s degree or higher in clinical counseling, social work, business administration, health administration, or a related field is required.

Experience: Prior supervisory experience, Behavioral Health experience, or Business management experience in a non-profit setting.

Licenses and Certifications: Must have a valid Driver’s License. Preferred Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Conditions of Employment: Must pass a driver’s license check, criminal history background check, and periodic and social security number verification check. The primary work location for this position is an MHR office. This position will typically work Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm MT or an approved modified schedule in the office. This position may be temporarily eligible to work from home through a Work from Home Agreement on a case-by-case basis.
