Overview: HR Force International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong background in RegTech, specifically in the areas of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering). This role is for a reputed client in the market which is based in the UK, Pakistan, and France. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with gap analysis in RegTech products and a proven track record of leading technological innovation and strategy in a fast-paced environment.

Overview: HR Force International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong background in RegTech, specifically in the areas of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering). This role is for a reputed client in the market which is based in the UK, Pakistan, and France. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with gap analysis in RegTech products and a proven track record of leading technological innovation and strategy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Ensure that the technology infrastructure supports corporate goals and strategies for the RegTech division, aligning it with the business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge KYC/AML solutions.
- Security: Ensure the products meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and performance. Develop, implement, and maintain security procedures Oversee the ongoing maintenance of the security of information systems.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and enforce best practices for software development and documentation. Also ensure compliance with data handling and processing regulations.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough gap analyses of existing products and services. Identify areas of improvement and lead initiatives to address these gaps effectively.
- Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest technological trends and advancements in the RegTech space. Integrate innovative solutions to enhance product offerings and maintain competitive edge.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals across multiple locations (UK, Pakistan, France). Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Client Liaison: Participate in client interactions to understand their requirements better, taking care of critical sales queries and taking care of critical TSR queries.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of technology projects.
- Budgeting: Managing the technical cost, negotiating with vendors and contractors for the service agreements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks. Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure system integrity.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a significant focus on RegTech, KYC, and AML.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of KYC/AML processes, regulatory requirements, and related technologies. Proven experience with gap analysis and product improvement.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams across different geographies.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic technology plans that drive business growth and compliance.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate complex challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Global Perspective: Experience working in international markets and managing distributed teams. Understanding of cultural and regulatory differences in the UK, Pakistan, and France.
