Job Summary
Assist the Child Development Specialist in infant, toddler, and/or preschool classrooms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a safe, stimulating environment for young children
- Conduct individual and group activities to encourage learning and develop social interaction skills
- Help prepare and/or serve children's meals
- Maintain appropriate records of attendance and activities
Educational Requirements
- Associate's Degree or two (2) or more years of post-secondary education
- Certification in First Aid and infant, child and adult CPR
- One (1) or more years of related work experience
$17.11 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

- Consistently exhibit engaging customer service
- Ability to support various constituencies served by the University
- Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position

- Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
- Demonstrated excellent experience with childcare
