Overview Of Role

As a Circuit Design Engineer for AI or high performance computing application, you will have the opportunity to work with TSMC’s leading process technology and portfolio of design enablement solutions to unleash innovation for the global semiconductor industry. Join us in the San Jose Design Office and be part of the team that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of semiconductor manufacturing. We are currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Timing/Power/Area analysis and improvement
• Read/Write margin and Noise analysis
• Power/Signal IR/EM analysis
• Supervise layout, compiler coding, and interpretation of testing results
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer Engineering (Fresh graduate student with limited or no industry experience is welcome to apply)
• In depth knowledge of VLSI design, digital integrated circuits, logic design, DFT (design for testing)
• Hands-on experience on running SPICE simulation for custom circuit
• Must have good teamwork attitude and good communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• TSMC N16 and below technology
• High performance or low power implementation methodology
• Concept of Latch, Flip Flop, setup/hold time analysis
• SRAM circuit design concept is a plus
• Proficiency of Perl, Tcl, Make is a plus

Pay Transparency Statement

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $88,000 and $130,000/per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
