Looking for a candidate to provide Citrix Administration for a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution known as SkyDesk at NIWC PAC. This systems administrator will design, deliver, and improve the SkyDesk solution deploying in both a classified and unclassified environment.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Function as primary administrator responsible for maintaining the existing infrastructure supporting the NIWC PAC Desktop as a Service (DaaS) / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Design, deliver, and support implementation of the SkyDesk solution in IL6.
Continuously evaluate, develop, and improve the SkyDesk solution in response to changing requirements, infrastructure, and technologies.
Leverage technologies such as Citrix Storefront, Citrix Workspace, Citrix NetScalers, Windows Server, Powershell, and AWS hosting as part of continuous improvement of the SkyDesk deployment.
Create and maintain documentation of SkyDesk configuration, maintenance, and general usage.
Identify, communicate/report, and address issues or risks to the SkyDesk Solution.
Coordinate with members of the Cloud Engineering Team for cloud related SkyDesk activities.
Clearance Level

Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
Security+ CE
GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
