As a key player in our dynamic team, you'll lead the charge in managing a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, retail, quick service restaurants, and mixed-use developments. Your expertise will be pivotal in steering projects from initial feasibility through construction completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of land development projects, ensuring they adhere to deadlines, budgets, and engineering standards.
Conduct site analysis to guide successful project design, considering topography, environmental factors, and regulatory requirements.
Develop detailed site designs, grading plans, stormwater management systems, and infrastructure layouts using cutting-edge software like AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Collaborate seamlessly with architects, utility companies, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure integrated project delivery.
Supervise project execution, conducting site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, proactively identifying and addressing risks.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders through effective communication.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona is essential.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil project management with a strong focus on land development projects.
Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BlueBeam HydroCAD, SWMM, and related design software.
In-depth knowledge of grading, drainage design, stormwater management practices, and erosion/sediment control.
Comprehensive understanding of land development regulations and permitting processes.
Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects.
Additional certifications (CFM, LEED, etc.) are a plus.
