Position: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Roswell, NM
Job Description
As a Clinical Psychologist at Matrix Providers, you will have the opportunity to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams. This challenging role involves reviewing relevant mental health history and performing compensation and pensions assessments for Veterans. Using web-based examination forms, you will document responses electronically. Completed exams will then be sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00-5:00
Employment Status: Full-time
Compensation: Salaried position, paid bi-weekly

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Hold a Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-accredited doctorate or post-doctorate program
Actively possess a valid and unrestricted psychologist licensure
Hold an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Possess good interpersonal skills with a willingness to adapt to changing situations
Basic computer skills are required
All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus, but not required
