Clinical Receptionist

Job Description

Topaz Clinical Research is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Clinical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our research facility, the Clinical Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and support to our patients, visitors, and staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate personnel
• Schedule and confirm appointments for patients and research participants
• Assist with patient check-ins and registration process
• Maintain and update patient records and information
• Process payments and manage financial transactions
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of patients
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
• Keep the reception area and waiting room clean and organized
• Order and maintain office supplies as needed
• Adhere to all privacy regulations and handle confidential information with sensitivity
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration is a plus
• Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  
  

Salary: $23,000 to $38,000 yearly
