Clinical Research Intern (Part-Time)

Summary: Internship is designed to provide on-the-job training and experience in research. Engages in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level. Receives training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete tasks, under supervision of professional staff, as appropriate to the day-to-day operating objectives of the unit.
  • Perform special projects as they become available.
  • Receives guidance, training, and mentoring from professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
  • Attend meetings when instructed.
  • Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
  • Produce timely and accurate information as requested.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned


Education/Experience:

  • High School graduate.
  • Previous research knowledge is a plus.


Certificates and Licenses:

  • Driver’s license with insurance

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions

  • Excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Foxfire, and web-based enterprise solutions software.

  • Work is performed in an office or a clinical environment.
  • Weekend or after hour work may be required.

  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including medical equipment with a maximum lift of 20-50 lbs.
