Job Summary
The Clinical Systems IT Educator Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of design, development, analysis, and implementation of learning programs that enhance operational effectiveness through competency gap analysis, innovative use of technology, blended learning, performance consulting, and data and results evaluation using a systematic approach. The Clinical Systems IT Educator Supervisor will lead the Clinical System IT Education Team to create learning material and opportunities that support onboarding and ongoing education for clinical information systems for providers, nursing, ancillary, and other care team members as needed. You will contribute to the development and delivery of evidence-based curriculum to improve staff understanding and utilization of clinical information systems to support the strategic goals of the CoxHealth. You will collaborate with departments across the organization in order to maintain current knowledge of clinician educational needs in order to develop and maintain education content. As the supervisor you will be responsible for management of direct reports; including team building, promoting individual growth, evaluation, coaching, hiring and terminating.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Associates degree in a related field or relevant clinical licensure (RN, LPN, Allied Health Professional, etc.)
Experience
Required: Minimum of 3-5 years in Healthcare Information Technology field
