As a Cloud Architect at Nerdery, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing robust cloud solutions on GCP. Dive into the details below and ponder if the Nerd life is your next big career leap.

What You'll Do as a Nerd:

• Independently design robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
• Build and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automate cloud resources.
• Design and execute client workshops to gather non-functional cloud requirements.
• Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, ensuring resilient and redundant cloud architectures.
• Mentor and empower Nerdery cloud engineers to enhance their technical skills.
• Empathize with customers, develop solutions, and act as a sales engineer in client workshops.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in cloud computing and GCP services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless, secure data flow and integration.

Skills for Nerd Success:

• Strong experience in data engineering, focusing on GCP services.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Competency in advanced security practices in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in various GCP services, emphasizing advanced features and best practices.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management tools like Terraform.
• Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing microservices-based architectures.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
