About this role: This role requires a passionate hands on Cognos developer who can contribute in creating robust financial and banking applications. Need someone who is flexible in adopting changes and learning new technologies effectively.

Description:

• Senior Cognos and BI developer with good exposure to data modeling, PL/SQL & Java
• Partner with business and BA to understand requirements, propose Cognos solutions that best fit requirements, and provide visualization expertise
• Minimum 5+ year of experience with Cognos report development
• Experience of installing, upgrading and applying service packs
• Collaborate with the technical architecture and infrastructure planning areas
• Understand the enterprise applications architecture design and development best practices for analytical applications
• Participate in the upgrade of software/releases, including the customization of functionality and the performance of technical tests to ensure minimal impact on the business
• Additional BI Tool/Technology experience preferred – Tableau, MicroStrategy
