Insurance carrier located in Georgia is in need of a REMOTE, Commercial Bodily Injury Adjuster
The length of the role will be a minimum of 60 days but probably will be longer.
This person will need to be able to work within the East Coast time zone preferably 8 AM to 5 PM.
This role will handle General Liability and Auto Bodily Injury claims.
5 years of litigated Auto & GL experience needed.
Technical ability to evaluate and anticipate next steps in the claim process while assisting a team with the following: making calls, reviewing correspondence, multi-tasking in several claim systems in a business environment.
Experience with GW, Image Right and Microsoft programs.
Ability to determine coverage by evaluating Commercial Auto and General Liability Policies.
Ability to investigate liability by taking recorded statements, managing vehicle appraisals. and rental to determine the claim exposure and set reserves/make payments within given authority.
Ability to maintain a diary of assigned activities/claims to continue to work a claim to resolution.
Ability to evaluate bodily injury claims by reviewing, summarizing, and determining appropriate reserve and settlement value.
Ability to present claim status by phone, video to insured, agencies and attorneys.
They will need jurisdictional expertise in AL, GA, VA, Maryland, WV, DC with licenses for those states that require it.
They can sit remotely. They will need their own personal computer.
