Advantage Technical is seeking a CAD/CAM CNC Programmer for our client in Norton, MA! This is a full-time position onsite with a growing company!
Requirements: The proper candidate should be familiar with Programming, 5 axis, and Solidworks or CAMworks experience. (They are willing to train the right person with SolidWorks experience & 5-axis machining center experience would also be a big plus).
Pay: $75,000-$85,000
Monday-Friday shift

Previous experience programming, setting up and operating 3 axis CNC machine tools.
Able to use SolidWorks for creating models of work holding tools and fixtures
Previous experience planning machining sequences from rough state
Previous experience selecting work holding approaches and cutting tools
Knowledgeable and experienced with various measuring tools and techniques basic hand held, optical and contact type measuring instruments & systems such as coordinate measuring machines
Responsibilities
The CNC Programmer, Setup, Operator position requires a self motivated person able to bring a machining application from concept to first article
Interacts with engineering staff to capture cost and methods data for accurate record keeping and continuous process improvement
Maintains the 5 axis CNC machine, cleaning and lubricating
Trains less knowledgeable and experienced machine shop personnel to improve their program editing, machine setup, operation and measurement skills
Reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor
