Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP is a mid-sized Chicago Loop law firm in search of a Content & Communications Coordinator for their Marketing Department.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
Draft, edit, and proofread website copy, social media posts, client alerts, intranet posts, invitations and other firm-related market and business development content
Maintain firm marketing materials including conducting a periodic review for annual updates and assisting with other content modifications as needed
Assist in the development of responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and pitches in cooperation with proposal specialist as needed
Compile firm matters in support of RFP/Pitch responses and attorney award and directory submissions
Coordinate submissions for attorney and industry directories, including Chambers, Legal 500, Best Law Firm, Best Lawyers and other relevant platforms; maintain relevant editorial calendars and database
Coordinate attorney biography creation and updates to firm platform
Respond to individual attorney and practice group marketing and business development-related requests as delegated by the department Director and managersdirector and managers
Assist in the planning and execution of firm and sponsorship-related events and seminars
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Degree in Marketing , Communications or Journalism a plus
2+ years’ experience in a professional service firm. preferred
Degree in Marketing or Journalism a plus
Previous work experience in law firm setting preferred
Strong drafting and proofreading skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and with attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with specific focus on PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Working knowledge of InterAction or any other CRM platform a plus
Working knowledge of InDesign Adobe Design Suite a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast fast-paced environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines and efficiently manage workload
